The bed in my room was very uncomfortable.

I loved the room with jacuzzi. An electric kettle, a fridge, and kitchenware were an advantage. The location was marvellous in the centre of Sanur.

Tasty breakfasts, always accommodating and extremely accommodating staff.
Fantastic, small property. Functional & generous-sized room, a seating area, ironing facilities, and a study table in there. A marvellous and lovely location in the centre of the city.

Had a really good stay for 4 night, would like to stay here on the next trip. We ate at a good restaurant with excellent food. Appreciated the configuration of the reasonably spacious bathroom and there were a lounge, a TV, and a kitchen area.

Nicely decorated and brand-new units with a jaccuzzi. A mini-bar, a fireplace, and central heating in the bedroom. Particularly good and fab location in Sanur, close to a supermarket, and beautifully maintained garden...

We chose Sagara Villas And Suites for our honeymoon and it was the best choice ever! The communication was brilliant, prices were good, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. The suites were comfortable, with a jacuzzi and a big bathroom. The hotel had a beautiful inside area with a pool, trees, and even a small temple. We had such a wonderful experience and will never forget our time there.
We would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The bathroom had a revolting and constant sewage smell. We bought an air refresher but that didn't help much.
During our stay at Kamuela, we encountered a minor issue with the bathroom. There was a sewage smell that was quite unpleasant.

We stayed in a suite (2 nights) and a Villa (2 nights). The quality of the hotel was very good for the price with the suite and villa were of a very high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The only real problem was the quality of the service was inconsistant for a 4.5 star hotel. The staff were always friendly but things that we would request or ask for wouldn't happen ie booked massage at reception but they never told the spa staff. Staff would do the vacuuming while you're having your breakfast. Table clothes would not be cleaned properly from the previous guests. Staff would see you sit down for breakfast but would not put the lights and fans on so you would have to get up yourself to do it. Is it the end of the world? No, but when you're supposed to be 4.5/5 star then it's those things that make the difference. One very worrying thing that did happen was there was an explosion at the front of the hotel with staff screaming and running in fear. We sat there eating our brekkie and no one told us what was happening! They just ran away! Thankfully it was a electricty transforma on the street and not a "bomb" that they intially thought it was!

The bed was comfy and the private villa with pool was great. The property didn't have the advertised jacuzzi though.

Kamuela proved to be a superb holiday experience for us. We stayed five nights and enjoyed every second. The food was SO good, and reasonably priced, that we ate almost every meal at the in-house restaurant. The 1 bedroom villa we stayed in was very roomy, with a large bed, excellent indoor and outdoor showering, a terrific mini pool, lounge area and dining facilities. The setting was secluded [we were at the end of a path) tropically lush and very peaceful. Great grounds and facilities were throughout, with a large, well-maintained guest pool right next to the dining area. At night, this area was a romantic setting for beautifully cooked and served meals from a wide-ranging menu. Make sure you try out the cocktails [full-strength and light]: they help complement the tropical experience. What sets this accommodation apart, however, is the OUTSTANDING service and friendliness of ALL the staff - from the front desk to the waiters, attendees and maintenance/gardeners. Bali friendliness, warmth and good humour were always present in abundance. The location of the complex is within a comfortable 10 minute stroll to nearby Sanur Beach and all the water sports, restaurants and stalls. This beach area is scenic, clean, friendly [asking but not hassling] and all with a relaxing ambience. We have stayed four times in Bali and this was by far our most enjoyable experience all-round. Hint: If you want 28 degrees [maximum] with light winds and cloud-free skies, then August is the month to come, with very mild tropical conditions that we loved. We also had a couple of in-house massages at the Kamuela Spa - once again, professional and REAL Balinese massages. We cannot recommend Kamuela Villas enough. P.S. They also have suites apart from the six or so villas. This is quality Bali.
